We've been waiting for this, obviously. Making the most of discounts and special offers is always a good deal, considering the items are on your shopping list. But sometimes you may buy something you don't really need just because it's cheaper for a few days. The great news comes from Waitrose: they're giving us both discounts, and control. Since last week and for the first time ever in the grocery industry, customers can apply a 20 per cent reduction on the products they choose, not the ones the supermarket commands. And it's been a revelation, apparently: the Waitrose's website crashed for a while because so many people wanted to participate to the "Pick your own offers" promotion.
Joining this loyalty program is really simple. The first step is being -or becoming- a myWaitrose member. Then, as explained my Waitrose:

The 10 products are to be selected from a list of a thousand items. Besides, this program won't deprive you of the other Waitrose offers that may occur.
