Here's an alternative to pizzas or chinese food delivered at home. You won't need to leave your sofa anymore to satisfy a craving for a double Whooper. There's just one condition though: you'll have to be lucky enough to live in one of the 21 areas Burger King selected to test its home delivery service.
"Burger King is firmly committed to delivering great-tasting food at affordable prices to all of our customers", said Matthew Bresnahan, Marketing Director of Burger King Northern Europe, Russia and Africa, "We are extremely excited about this Home Delivery service trial so customers can continue to enjoy the perfect combination of taste, at great value prices, now delivered straight to their homes."
The trial started in March with eight locations, home delivery being available within a two-miles radius of the selected restaurants, and orders must be at least £14. The first locations were Gants Hill, Hayes, Hornchurch, Hull, Northampton, Romford, Skegness and Truro. Since then, the service has been expanded to Acton, Banbury, Basildon, Bury St Edmunds, Corby, Coventry, Folkestone, Leyton, Margate, Queensway, Stratford and Wakefield. London has not been forgotten: Burger King's delivery service is now offered in Euston Road, King’s Cross and Whitechapel High Street restaurants.
