Wearing jeans cruelly limits your movements, and even more so when they are skinny or slim-fit. Fed up of not being able to find jeans for their posteriors, four American sportsmen launched the ready-to-wear brand, "Barbell Apparel". For them, putting on a pair of jeans should not be a combat, and the trousers should let their owner move freely. The denim developed for the brand is a hybrid, combining stretch and robustness, and allowing the wearer to do sport or ride a motorbike, whilst remaining close fitting. The models produced are designed to show off muscled legs, and combine comfort with style.
Launched on Kickstarter, the project asked for 15,000 dollars to start production in the USA, and finally collected more than 344,000 dollars in only a few days. A boot cut jeans version was added to the men-women collection, as well as international delivery. In addition, people contributing at least 99 dollars (around 58 pounds) will receive the first models next July.
