Already operating through 230 stores in the UK, the out of town fashion and homeware retailer is expanding its offer. Matalan has created and launched Matalan Direct, an extension of the Matalan e-commerce platform. The webstore displays a full range of home furniture (baths, showers, sinks, taps, toilets, heaters and various accessories), all products being available online only. Bathroom and bathroom furniture are the first step but the range is due to develop steadily into an entire home improvements option.
"By opting for an online platform, Matalan Direct will be able to offer an ever-expanding range of products without the restrictions of in-store on-boarding constraints. Our target is to give customers maximum choice and convenience whilst remaining affordable which is why our range will retain our value price point but will also offer options to suit any budget.", explained Jason Hargreaves, Matalan's Managing Director. The delivery is free for orders above £499, and you will benefit from a 90 days hassle-free return policy.
