River Island are known for their unique designs, so it is likely that their homeware range will also offer customers exclusive items for around the home. Glasgow is said to be the first location for the River Island homeware store, it is likely that River Island will also open other homeware stores in the UK further down the line.
So far it appears that the homeware range will be added to an existing Glasgow River Island store and will not require a new store to be built. The collection consists of 160 homeware items and the Glasgow store will be the first to offer the full collection. The collection includes a range of home furnishing items and starts at just £8.00. Buyers will be able to choose from a selection of candles, cushions, tables and other furniture, and storage options. The brand offers seasonal collections to keep the homes of buyers on-trend throughout the year. The collection is made up of a selection of items specially designed by River Island, following the latest home design trends and colour options.
Although buyers will be able to view the homeware collection at two River Island stores in the East Coast, the Glasgow Silverburn store will be the only location in Scotland to stock the entire range. The range will be available from the 26th of September at the Glasgow store, and is not currently available to buy online. The homeware collection mimics styles and items that are currently available from high-end home furnishing designers. Many of the homeware items are very similar to more expensive designer pieces, meaning that customers can kit out their home in style, without the enormous price tag.
