Colourful, pop and slightly mad, the Undiz lingerie brand continues to differentiate itself from its big sister, Etam, of which it is a subsidiary. Often surprising, the brand has just developed a new concept and transforms the in-store customer experience, making it more fun.
Under the name Undiz Machine, the new store in the town centre of Toulouse in France is crossed by strange transparent tubes, in which air-propelled capsules circulate. These contain items present in stock but not on the store shelves. Four connected tactile terminals are available for customers, presenting all the products offered in the store. Having chosen a model, colour and size on the terminal, all the customer has to do is wait for the machine to deliver their order, via one of the capsules. He or she can then try the items on and go to the checkout if they are happy with them.
Developed by the company, Improveeze, this system works using RFID labels that let the machine find the correct product. This new system doesn't remove the services generally offered by the store as salespeople are present, but don't have to go to the stock to look for an item. In addition, this allows the brand to make available products that would require a presentation area of 150 m², in only 50 m² of sales space.
