hjad a most upsetting call yesterday about my credit card payment for november which I have never received. I always pay as soon as I get the bill the full amount which could have been checked before the accusing tone used I was told to pay £63. 63p todat but my card would not be available for me to use for 5 dayd, debenhams loss not mine I will shop elsewhere. The bills I have amount to £ 49 55 not 63 63 so if I have been charged interest I will close the card

I am disgusted with this store! My husband hired suits for the males in the family (7 suits) for the 14th of august 2014, he paid well in advance. 3 days before the wedding he goes to pick up the suits they were all measured for and my 11 year old sobs suit didn't fit it was tiny! They said they would sort it the day before the wedding and that didn't happen, they said the courier would arrive at 7am the morning of my wedding to drop the suit off!!!! My husband had to buy a suit for my son the morning of my wedding just incase you let us down again. The courier turned up at 10am. It caused a lot if stress as I wanted my son to look the same as the others. It shouldn't happen, the suits weren't cheap. I've told other people getting married not to go there to get the suits it was shocking. I've had no apology just people blaming different departments.

Sir/ Madam. I would like this complaint directed to the duty store manager., thank you. Yesterday at roughly 11.30 I visited Debenham's, Basildon to purchase a single fitted sheet and some pillow cases, I wanted the Supima cotton which are the most expensive, I picked up 2pairs of pillow cases as it was buy one, second half price and looked for the single fitted sheet, there were none there so I asked at the till point and was told they don't sell them, I asked if they could order me one and she replied that they don't sell them so I paid for the pillowcases and left. When I got home I checked on line and yes, you do sell them, there was no offer of buy one get one half price, I was fuming as I'm sure the lady at the till could have ordered me one if she could have been bothered ! I ordered it on line. I would like to hear your comments on this matter. Regards Maureen Howard.

Today i was really impressed with Claire who works in health and beauty, benefits counter, in Basildon. I was given her number to enquire if my set of keys had been handed into the store, after speaking to her on the phone, she did her best to contact security on our behalf, and managed to track down the lost keys too. Claire was very polite, both over the telephone, and also when we visited the store to pick up our keys, and i felt she went beyond what was expected of her today. As a result i had to write to express our gratitude to Basildon, they provided a brilliant service, and have some fantastic staff working there, Thankyou.

Not very happy. I bought a handbag which was advertised with 25% discount. So I felt pleased with my "bargain". When I got home I found that a second label had been stuck over a previous lable showing the handbag at £10 cheaper. Is this how the discount is funded. Raise the price by £10 then offer a discount. I phoned customer services who were no help at all. I feel cheated. Better no discount than raising the price to do so.

Put my watch in for a new strap to be fitted, paid £39.00 on Sunday 15 January 2017, told me they would call me back following day Monday 16 Jan, however did not hear any thing so left. It until yesterday Monday 23 January, I phoned several nos being 01268 244434 they gave me another tel no 01268 244456,however tried several times yesterday Monday 23 Jan no one answered, have tried again this morning but again no one answered the phone, so will have to go into Basildon store on Sunday 29 Jan, won't go before as will have to pay for parking, come Debenhams let us customers have some customer service please.

úsed the restaurant w?ich was a mistake.. 2.0pm and very little hot food left and what there was looked like it had been sitting on the hotplate far to long. ordered a toasted sandwich took ages and was served up with warm dried out salad. Tables were not being cleared or cleaned. Basically the cafe is a major let down and would never use it again

said they would deliver sofa between 9 and 12 still not arrived and well after 12 - had the old sofa removed so no dont have any to sit on - also when you phone up they keep you hanging on for ages

I am enraged with the customer care in the Tripp luggage department. I took part of a very expensive luggage set back two weeks ago after using it for only three holidays. The handle would not extend to full length. The manager said he would look and see if he could fix it for me as the set was discontinued now and could not be replaced. I agreed to giving him a week to sort it out and he was to let me know the outcome. After two weeks with no word I went to the luggage department but it was the managers day off. The assistant tried to help me but the manager had left no word on the case. The assistant left a note for the manager explaining that I had been in and would return today. I have been phoning his number and several others to get an answer but to no avail. I am hoping this will get a result. I'm not holding my breath.

What has happened to Debenhams! I've always thought that this was a "cut above" store. Today, I browsed through the Jeff Banks and Thomas Nash shirts, hoping to buy my Son one for Christmas. Not only were all the sizes mixed up, but so were Classic and Tailored fits. So I looked around for an assistant to help and advise me. And I couldn't find one! In desperation, I went to the payment till, where there was a long queue, and asked where I could find an assistant. Apparently, Debenhams don't employ Staff to assist customers, even at Christmas! So a member of staff came off the till, and did her best to help me. Come on, Debenhams, get back to the store we have always held in the highest esteem! Sadly, it's too late for this customer. I left without buying anything.

Went in to buy a pair of boots asked if they had a pop sock so I could try them and was told they don't have any most shoe shops have them little pop socks that you throw away for hygiene reasons I asked if I could buy a pair of socks the lady who worked there didn't want to help she said there upstairs I put the boots down and left the assistant was more content in doing her display than help me debenhams lost a sale
