Call centre is very poor. Waiting far too long for someone to answer . When eventually an assistant did answer all she did was transfer the call to the debenhams store requested . Disgrace , the department I wanted did not answer neither did an adjacent one . Why put phone numbers to contact a store when all you get is a call centre who take you round in circles after keeping you holding on for ages . If you're thinking of phoning for info about products , don't bother .

Load of crap bought four ten pound gift vouchers to use online to be told I can only use one at a time and I can't have a refund! Discustung that they can rip a young mother off like this right on Xmas! I don't want to buy anything from them on principle now!!!

I was overcharged in store Sunday so returned to the shop on Monday with my purchase and my receipt only to be told by the shop assistant very rudely that the product I had with me was not the product that I had purchased on that particular receipt. I stood my ground and asked her to speak to the assistant that has actually served me who happend to be working as well. I turned out that the original assistant had scanner the box bar code instead of the ticket bar code so I was absolutely correct. Through the whole process the assistant was very rude and abrupt and offered me no apology. When you had finished the refund I said that she had made me feel very uncomfortable at this point she replied "well its not my faulty you were overcharged " and then to top it all when I got outside I realised that she had not refunded be enough money. I called Debenhams who did not appear interested at all but did eventaully agree to look into the matter and call me back. unfortunately no call back happend. I spent over £500 in their store that weekend but can safely say I will never shop there again

My wife and I were in Debenhams today. In Accessories the young sales assistant Vanessa was so very helpful she deserves a mention and the till lady Katie she also was very kind. Many thanks.

Rather dispiriting not to have the telephone answered. I rang 08445616161 and waited and waited and waited. After 12 minutes I gave up. I called just after 16.45 on Monday August 8th. I assume you don't open Mondays.

We visited your Southampton store two weeks ago and received such good service by Chris in the mens department. Chris went to great lengths to locate, measure and supply me with my suit. I am an awkward size but Chris located and arranged the necessary alterations needed to have made.We collected this suit on Sunday, sadly Chris was not working. A BIG pat on the back for this young man. Well done!

My name is Joanna Cooke - I am awaiting a response from a floor manager regarding a dress I bought on 28th February and retuned to you the following week ... It cost me £79.99 and a refund is being sorted - or so I was assured... I spoke with some one from your store manager approx 10 days ago - he tr asked the dress to Manchester I believe and was going to get back time to refund and compensate me for the horrendous phone bill I have run up trying to contact you, it was a cash purchase and you will need my bank details,I would very much like you to contact me as a matter of urgency regarding this matter as I seem to have been forgotten, I live on the Isle of Wight - Cyorus Lodge, Victoria Ave Shanklin PO37 6LS

Today (29 December 2015) my family and I went to Debenhams. Whilst at the store my severely autistic Son needed the toilet.. Due to the severity of my Son's disability we have a Radar key and were able to access the disabled persons' toilet on the second floor. The toilet was extremely dirty, there was no paper at all and to my horror we were unable to wash our hands as the water coming out of thee tap was brown. The whole experience was quite disgusting. I wanted to find a member of staff to complain but couldn't find anyone. At this time my Son was anxious and we had to leave the shop. We have encountered some poor facilities in our time but ft his was extraordinarily bad to the point that I think the local authority s,hold be informed. I will endeavour to contact the Manager tomorrow but will not be patronising this particular store again until the matter is resolved.

We buy nearly all our clothes from Debenhams in Southampton and have always found the staff polite and helpful. We wouldn't go anywhere else, even my husband prefers that store

I rang the 0844 number and after 10 mins have just put the phone down without getting any response. Now I find I paid 7p per minute for this unacceptable service. The answer to the question I needed to ask could so easily be put on your web. I.e. Can I get travel money on a Sunday and can a Sat. Voucher. Southampton branch.
