My wife and I was in your store on Saturday with my Grand Daughter looking to purchase a Computer for her because we was told how helpful you were. Well we asked this young man who was there and he said I don't know and the other young man we see when we asked about a computer for our Grand Daughter for her GCSE, he said we do not do Student packages and walked away. We was told from other people who have brought computers from your store how helpful you are, and go to your store first before going anywhere else because you were the best. After that I can't see my wife and I shopping in there again after traveling there from Luton. I'm sorry but that is the way we feel.

My grandson purchased a jacket from Hobbs in your store (Xmas present for his partner). She put it on Xmas morning and found 4 used tickets for a Canal Cruise in Amsterdam, dated 6.11.2016.!. The jacket had obviously been worn for a weekend break and then returned to your store. The garment was obviously not checked before a refund was given.

JLP/MK have excelled themselves (once again!). We looked in last week to view the washing machines. The salesman (unfortunately didn't get his name) was an absolute mine of information and helpful advice, but never pushy! We bought a Bosch machine and it was delivered today by two very courteous gentlemen who called me 'Sir'! and once I was happy with everything they took our old machine away. This is customer service at it best! Well done!

visited J. Lewis for the first time in years on saturday (live out of the area) what a lovely store. Customer service outstanding particularly the young man in the restaurant (small, dark hair glasses) who took a considerable amount of time sorting out what my daughter could eat (allergies) and the gentleman cleaning the tables who took time to find me a chair - everryone we spoke to was happy to assist - thankyou.

I have been trying to reach the Chanel Counter in your store and have been given the wrong number twice. It was to let the Sales Manager know I will not be attending the Chanel No. 5 L'eau launch this evening

We purchased a BEKO DIN 15210 integrated dishwasher and paid for installation. When the JL installers arrived to install the item they advised they did not have the tools to install the item. They just disappeared leaving us 'literally holding the baby' and JL could not wait to refund the installation cost. No customer care call to discuss the problem' and no response to our later letter of complaint. A local installer did a super job. Good bye John Lewis

Bought a lens for my Canon camera today. The sales assistant,an elderly guy who I assumed to be the photographic dept manager served me. Well I say served me, as he was the most surly uninterested man I have ever had serving me in JL. He gave me no information on the product, was rude and abrupt when I asked for a discount and did not bother to demonstrate the lens to me ,just let me get on with it. If I had not been with my wife ( who did not want me to make a fuss ) I would have gone straight to the manager of the store to make a complaint. I picked JL for my purchase because I have not had a good experience at the nearby photographic store, but believe me I will never buy another photographic product from JL again. I am appalled at the customer service I received today, and suggest you send the sales assistant on a customer care course, because he seriously needs training on customer relations. Thank goodness we have Amazon, as that is where I will be purchasing my camera needs in future.
