I would just like to comment,on the service I received this afternoon at your store in liverpool,I purchased a microwave,which I thought. That I had already ordered online,however on calling into the customer collection part of your store, I spoke to a very polite and friendly young ladie name badge Sabrina,who informed me that I had not successfully completed my purchase online,so directed me to the kitchen department,where I was able to buy the product I wanted. On returning to customer collect, I was greeted once again by the smiling and ever so polite young ladie Sabrina,who brought my microwave to me and even offered to bring it to my car,I thanked her,as the rain was pouring down,and it was a heavy ,and I'm strong ,so I put it into my car myself,if only all shop staff where as happy friendly,and smiling towards customers as Sabrina was, it will always be nice to go shopping, once again thanks to Sabrina for making a dull day so bright mr j Ames lundon.

Totally disappointed with Dior counter. Spent over £400 on this counter & assistant was hideous & incompetent , she packaged up wrong aftershave & deodorants & shower gel in a box , on xmas day once opened we found it was totally wrong & how disappointing !! I had to go back & actually ask for Dior gift bags which completes the whole gift & gives the Dior luxury experience as a gift & she offers me no samples or anything . I always buy Dior from Selfridges as they are always so helpful & they make the whole shopping experience special with Dior !!!!! John Lewis in Liverpool one was not special at all & I'll be taking the products back & re purchase from Selfridges !! Disappointing Xmas day & hideous shopping experience !!! Well done john Lewis for employing dozy staff !!! We are all so busy ourselves & don't have the time or need the hassle to have to go back to the shops with your mistake !!! Never shop in this store again. I'd give it no stars but guess what .... It won't let you !!!!

I was looking for some Monty and Mabel gifts on request from Boston USA (the advert has reached them). The staff - particularly Anna, were excellent and even spoke with the gentleman who called from the US and explained what was in stock. Because of that I will be opening an John Lewis account. john lewis represents the sauve classy british feel to the shopping world.If you been to Macy's or Jessy Penny in the States you know exactly what i'm trying to say. I'm quite proud of this little asset of ours.

This is an opinion on the coffee shop we visited in John Lewis when my two daughters and I shopped on the 8th of November. Basically it was one big disappointment! We were met by what must be the only sour faced member of staff we came in contact with during three hours of shopping to find outfits for a wedding. We had three cups of coffee one scone and lemon drizzle cakes. The cake was totally lacking in lemon flavour. The scone was the worst I have ever had, dry as your hat if it had any sugar in it I would be surprised. It fell apart and the butter was like a brick so I ended up with a lump of butter on a tasteless bit of scone. For this we were charged over £15 This is is not the John Lewis experience I expect.

Polite, helpful staff. Clean and airy shop. Stock spaced out and presented well. Pleasant shopping experience . Parking expensive ,which can be off putting. Marvellous variety of brands and departments.

John Lewis systems are down and this includes internasl telephone service. I am unable to speak to the department. Dreadful as they say Google is responsible???

The customer care on the Tom Ford stand was exemplary I do believe the young man was called Tom Lloyd but I'm not sure I remembered correctly. Please convey my thanks and if I were john Lewis I would make sure I employed him and promoted him right away. He went to special lengths to make sure I got the right fragrance for the right person and had it wrapped beautifully . He was also Immaculately groomed which I do believe is so important to give the right impression. Well done young man.

I was eagerly looking forward to the re-opening of the coffee shop on the 1st floor after your extensive improvement work, designed to enhance our shopping experience. You have failed, the new Juice Bar is not in keeping with your demographic, the use of the windows to bring the waterfront into your building has been lost also,and paper cups are to been in seen far less superior food outlets, I await your comments. I am sure I will not be the first or last of your loyal customers to contact on the issue. Barbara Walsh
