Hi,I would just like to bring to whoevers notice that the ladies toilets in the Kingston store need attention badly. They are kept to a good standard of cleanliness but the push buttons to flush are getting almost impossible. I use the store a lot and Waitrose too. With daughters with young children and a Grandmother myself we need to have a toilet handy. I know living in kingston we are in a hard water area but the push buttons are getting much too stiff. It is not unusual to go into a non flushed toilet now but I can understand why,you really need something in your bag to press against the button to get the flush to work. Please get somebody to take a look ASAP as they are getting worse. I must complement you on your baby changing facilities. I helped my daughter change her daughter for a wedding in Kingston and a friend turned up to do the same and they all went off to the wedding together, very much appreciated, could not fault it. Some have no toilet but that makes such a difference and a great help to Mum or Dad as you also often have a toddler too. Keep up the good work, regards A.R.

FAO The Manager, Kingston-on-Thames John Lewis. Yesterday, 17th December, I spent time in the nursery/baby's department with an advisor, Renee. She was absolutely excellent and I can't commend her highly enough. She gave my pregnant niece and nephew a really exciting and worthwhile experience and she was a joy to have as our advisor. There is just one point that I would like to raise. The department had one doll available for customers to use when trying our various pieces of baby equipment. This doll was white-skinned. I am sure that John Lewis would wish to present itself as an inclusive organisation, sensitive to the needs of a wide range of ethnicities. I would therefore suggest that black and Asian dolls are also made available, so that all customers feel that their ethnicity and identity is recognised and valued. I look forward to receiving your response to this. I remain a loyal customer of John Lewis stores. Best wishes, Linda Powell

Dear Sir, Just a note to thank Mr Andy Gee in Housewares forces kind assistance recently with the change over of the cooking pan set which we made at John Lewis ,Chichester. Pan set originally purchased at JL Kingston. Please advise Mr Gee of our thanks!

Service for purchase of iPad excellent with young salesman patient and sensible in dealing with elderly couple. No overselling and helping in achieving a good outcome. Off set by poor service in the "Place to Eat". No direct knowledge of food content in relation to gluten free food and dairy free food. Very poor gluten food. Teapot spouts all stained on the outside, not what expected of John Lewis.

Myself and husband started shopping at John Lewis in Streatham (Pratts) in 1970, and now Kingston branch since it opened. Our children used to laugh at us because most things in our house came from John Lewis, now adults and families of their own what is their choice of shop - John Lewis. The store is well equipped and the staff are always very willing to help and assist you. The only criticism is that they shut a very pleasant coffee (plus cake) shop and left main restuant which is very noisy and often cannot get a table on the weekend

Looking for at least two outfits I was fortunate to be assisted by Sue Lincoln who never wavered in her quest to find me alternatives to wear over two dresses already chosen. Nearly an hour of her knowledge of the merchandise on the shop floor resulted in me having a choice I am really happy with. I know it is her job, but helpfulness with a smile in order to make me look my best was most appreciated.
