Poundstretcher are workfare exploiters. They take people who are unemployed and pay them no wages.

I won't shop at Poundstretcher because you don't pay workers - they are slaves on 'workfare'.
The decent thing is to STOP this.

This shop is confirmed as employing job centre Workfare "volunteers" at the tax payers expence rather than hiring proper employees and paying them a proper wage. Will boycott all Poundstretcher stores until I get confirmation that as an organisation they have changed this policy.

I agree with all other comments something needs to be done by this exploiters as they hire a lot of very young staff 16-18 who are on £3.79 and are on 4hour contract no breaks treated as slaves ridiculous see the WYMONDHAM STORE AND DEREHAM FOR FURTHER PROOF all young staff

Poor staff are depressed as working for less than minimum wage and free overtime.hope this gets closed down and replaced with a b&m or a big discount store

I won't shop at Poundstretcher because you don't pay workers - they are slaves on 'workfare'. The decent thing is to STOP this. Let's hope they get taken over by a British company like a wait rose and John Lewis who pay their staff properly
