A delightful family-run, independent delicatessen and cafe. Strongly traditional, we carry an extensive range of English and continental cheeses, cooked meats and savoury products. Based in the famous Cheap Street in historic Frome in Somerset, we are long-established and therefore have built a reputation for quality beyond our renowned local status. Above all friendly and welcoming, we hope you will find something to catch your eye.
One thing that makes us stand out is that so much of our produce is made in the shop itself, such as our home-made flips made with rough pastry or our classic homemade pork and bramley apple sausage rolls. For instance we also make our own home-made cakes and tray bakes along with a full range of meat and vegetarian savories. Everything is freshly made.
We also have a coffee shop area where you can escape from the cares of the day with a cup from our fine coffee selection, or our range of exotic teas, and a freshly-baked savoury from our well-stocked counter.
In addition we have an eclectic mix of locally-crafted potteryware, luxury hand-made chocolates, wines & spirits, quality gifts and the kind of oils, sauces and comestibles you can’t normally find on the High Street, and therefore we have a recipe which, combined with our excellence in customer service, we hope will keep you coming back.

Traditional we may be, but Sagebury Fine Foods Delicatessen and Cafe is not behind the times. Frome is a great community, and we like to play our part. You will find the Sagebury Fine Foods stall as part of the Somerset Farmers’ Market section of the Frome Independent Market; a first-Sunday-of-the-month treat throughout most of the summer months, where we offer our range of baked products for your delectation.
